Packing and Packing Materials

 

After the discovery of the client’s furniture our personal determine the necessary number of packers and porters, the type of needed vehicles and packing material for the upcoming move.

 

The next step is to designate a suitable date for the move with our client. On the designated date of move our packing and porter crew appears at the client’s adres and starts with the packing of the household goods.

 

Furniture which is not able to be taken apart will be carefully packed in nopped paper in one piece. If recommended the piece of the furniture will be additionally packed in cartons. Chairs will be put in special chair cartons after their were wrapped up in nopped paper.

 

Fragile pieces like glassware, chinaware tec. Will be wrapped up in packing paper and put in thick cartons.

 

Underware, sets of bedding, towels and clothes will be wrapped up in paper and put in special cloth carons. Suits, jackets, trouser, overcoats will be hung into special large cartons in order to avoid wrinckling.

 

Books, magazines, cds, tapes, computers and it’s equipment will be packed in thick paper and then put into book cartons.

 

Pictures, mirrors and frames will be wrapped with packing paper and nopped paper. The size and the fragility decides whether these pieces be put into cartons or into cartons or into specially made wooden cases.

 

Transportation and Delivery

 

 

Our company agrees with international standards on the sector of  iner-city, national and international moving. All of our vehicles are equipped for moving any kind of household goods. They are furnished with a wooden flor and carpets on each side.

 

On iner-city moves our company prefers to use smaller vehicles, because for large lorries finding a suitable place to park in the city is hardly possible. There are also driving prohibitions in the city on certain times. By usşng smaller vehicles we are able to plan the move of our client more flexible. The vehicles of our company have an official permissions for transportation.

 

On national moves the type, size and weight of the goods determine the use of TIR’s or lorries in different sizes. Our personal follows the whole transportations process and provides a delivery of the goods in time.

 

On international transports our company is merely using air-suspended lorries in order to minimize the opportunity of damages on the goods. Our company is able to move your freight to any place on the world.

 

On overseas transportations we can provide our clients 20’DC, 40’DC, 20’DC High Cube, 40’DC High Cube containers. We contact the sea agent, transport the container to the adres of our client, upload the container and transport it to the port. At the port our customs consultants complete the necessary customs clearence and send the container to it’s destination port in order to be able to deliver the freight to the new adres of our client. So we obtain our clients a door to door move without any problems.

 

Customs 

 

Customs Clearence

 

Formalities for the import/export of household goods, automobils, trailers, caravans, motorcycles, temporary residence permissions and transit customs clearence are done by our personal in the customs department of our company. In each case our customs counsellors get in contact with the clients, inform them about the necessary documents and follow the whole customs clearences process as soon as they receive all of the documents. After the customs clearance has been completed our personal collect the freight from the customs office and deliver it at the adres of the client.

 

Import Customs Clearance of Diplomatic Household Goods and Vehicles

 

Firstly the person with diplomatic status has to order over the diplomatic institution which she/he belongs to a diplomatic passport and the identity card from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

With the entry of the diplomatic household goods and the vehicles at the Turkish Customs we hand out your diplomatic mission the required document for the preparation of the Takrir. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms the Takrir and send it back to the diplomatic mission. Our customs counsellors take over the takrir and a Proxy and complete the customs clearance on the same day. Later our personal delivers the freight on a date determined with the client. The whole procedure mostly applies 3 working days. One copy of each import paper will be send to the diplomatic mission by mail or cargo.

 

Export Customs Clearance of Diplomatic Household Goods and Vehicles

 

The person with diplomatic status notifies over the diplomatic institutions she/he belongs to the export of the goods to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

Later our company contacts the diplomatic mission to prepare the necessary export permission. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms these documents and send them back to the diplomatic mission. Our customs counsellors collect the papers and a Proxy from the mission and start the customs clearance imeediately. After the customs clearance has been completed on the same day, our company prepares the transport of the goods. One copy of each export paper will be send to the diplomatic mission by mail or cargo. 

 

 

Import of Household Goods (Temporary Residence)

 

Extension for the Household Goods

 

There are following reglements for persons with a foreign citizenship who are moving to Turkey with their household goods and rent/buy a real estate in this country;

 

a) If the person is employed in Turkey

 

She/He has to order over the employer an employment permission from the Turkish Ministry of  Employment and a residence permission from the police department.

 

After the entry of the household goods or the vehicle in the Turkish Customs the company of the client will be notified to prepare the necessary documents for the temporary import. Our customs counsellors start the customs clearance with these papers and a notary comfirmed Proxy at the Turkish Customs. The company of the client will be informed later about the amount of the guarantee letter by the customs Office. After that the guarantee letter must be hand out our cutoms counsellors who complete the customs clearance in 2 working days. Later the goods will be delivered imediately at your adress. This prosedure mostly takes 3 working days. One copy of each paper will be send to the company of our client by mail or cargo.

 

b) If the person is pensioner or wants to resort in Turkey

 

She/He has to order a residence permission from the Foreign Department

 

After the entry of the household goods or the vehicle in the Turkish Customs the client will be notified to prepare the necessary documents for a temporary import. Our customs counsellors collect these papers and a notary confirmed and signed Proxy in order to start the customs clearance. Later the client will be informed about the amount of the guarantee letter. After the payment of this amount the customs clearance will be completed in 2 working days and our personal delivers your goods to your adress. This procedure mostly takes 3 working days.

 

The prosedure of the import of vehicles takes more time.

 

Export of Household Goods (Temporary Residence Permission)

 

Our company contacts the client’s company and orders the preparation of the necessary  document for the export.

 

The export permission will be send back to the company after the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has comfirmed it. Our customs counsellors start the customs clearance with these papers and the Proxy. The customs clearance mostly completes on the same day and after that our company prepares the delivery. One copy of each paper will be send to the company of our client by mail or cargo.

 

 

 

Import of  Personal Effects

 

After receiving the necessary document for the import of the personal effects (books, clothes, pc, ect.) from Turkish or foreign persons who studying or working or tourists, our company completes the customs clearance during one working day and delivers the goods to the adress.

 

 

Export of  Personal Effects

 

After receiving the necessary document for the export of the personal effects (books, clothes, pc, ect.) from Turkish or foreign persons who will study or work or go as tourists abroad, our company completes the customs clearance during one working day and sends  the goods to any  adresson the world.

 

Automobil Operations, Blue Plate, Triptic and Extensions

 

After the entry of the vehicle in the Turkish Customs, the client’s company will be informed about the necessary document for the temporary importation of the car. After receiving the required papers and a notary comfirmed and signed Proxy, our company counsellors start the customs clearance. After receiving a “temporary import permission for foreign vehicles” from the Turkish Touring and Automobile Club, these ones inform the client’s company about the amount of the guarantee. This guarantee can be paid cash or as a guarantee letter to the customs Office. The cutoms clearance is mostly complete in 2 working days. Later our company orders the traffic plates with the requied documents at the traffic department. This procedure mostly takes one working day and after that we hand out the vehicle and its papers to the client. One copy of each traffic document will  be send to the company of our client by mail or cargo.

 

Export of Automobiles (Triptic)

 

Our company contacts the client’s company and orders all documents since the import ation of the vehicle like triptic-book, paid vehicle tax receipts, traffic penalty receipts and othersin order to enclose the vehicle at the traffic department. After that the exportation will be complete in one working day. One copy of each traffic document will  be send to the company of our client by mail or cargo.

 

Storage

 

Our campany owns a warehouse  on he Istanbuk Highway on a distance of 26 km to Ankara. There is a open parking zone and warehouse of 500 sm with central heating on the 6500 sm large ground. The warehouse has a maximum capacity of 2000 cbm. Household goods and other piece are stored inside of wooden cases in order to protect them from humidity.
